Green spaces will be worked on, street sweeping will happen the week of July 8, and an empty dumpster will be placed on Middleton Avenue very near the Rawson Woods Bird Preserve Park for your use. Special roving trash trucks will be working in the area from July 8-12. The dumpster is intended for residents to clean up their homes and yards. They will be emptied and replaced as they get filled. Note the rules of the dumpster!
Do NOT overfill the dumpster. The City of Cincinnati Department of Public Services must be able to place a tarp over the dumpster.
Do NOT place tires in the dumpster. Please neatly stack them near the dumpster on the sidewalk, and Public Services will collect them sometime during the event.
Do NOT put any hazardous material in the dumpster including: paints, gasoline, motor oil, acids, household chemicals, infectious waste, propane or pressurized tanks. These items require special handling for disposal. Please contact Hamilton County Solid Waste Management (513) 946-4000.
Keep the area around the dumpsters neat and clean. Nothing should be left outside of the dumpsters…except all those tires.
To help focus the street sweeping efforts use the Fix It Cincy! app to report areas that need attention. You can also call these in to 591-6000 or click here to enter your request online. You can also report areas that need special attention (piles of trash, illegal dumping spots, etc.) during the blitz.
