Join us for the third salon of the 17-18 season, on the topic of Cultural Cuisines: Take a trip around the world, all on one plate: Cincinnati’s cultural eateries come together to discuss our city’s diverse (and delicious!) food scene and share samples of their favorite dishes.

Fill your Second Sundays with smiles at CCAC’s monthly series of lively, family-focused musical and theatrical performances Second Sunday Family Showtime. Show begins at 2pm each month and is followed by a community reception. Tickets available for purchase starting at 1pm the day of the show.

This month’s performance of “Pinocchio” is presented by Playhouse in the Park: The much-loved tales about a wooden puppet who dreams of becoming a real boy is packed with magical characters, cartwheels, circus antics and dollops of fun for the whole family.

This month’s performance of “Bee Happy” is presented by Wump Muckett Puppets: Terrence Burke is known for a performance that is high energy, fun and appropriate for ages 3 – 10 and parents too! This lively performance features two new puppet skits featuring puppet stars Coleman the Sasquatch, Unka Unka, and Space Princess G’Wizzl visiting The Queen Bee, to learn how bees help us, and how we can help them. Bee Happy includes audience participation, a short dance break, and lots of puppet fun through the magic of live puppetry!

Join us for the fourth salon of the 17-18 season, on the topic of Chocolate: Learn all there is to know about chocolate from Lisa Cooper-Holmes, the Proprietor, Queen, and Choco Boss of Haute Chocolate in downtown Montgomery, OH. From the origin and history to correctly tempering and storing to ensure your sweets stay sweet, Lisa will also guide us through the preparation and making of a springtime treat: chocolate, of course!
